#6 - Magic and the NBA Mexico City Games

The Magic are undefeated in Mexico City! This is what we want out of an international 2 game tour!

On Thursday December 13th and Saturday December 15th, the Orlando Magic played regular season games against the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz, respectively, at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City.

I love what the league is doing by continuing to play games internationally! This is an effort to expand the NBA's reach to it's fans; basketball is a global sport and international games gives fans an opportunity to experience a real NBA game. It's one thing to watch a game on TV, it's another to see in person!

The Magic looked great in both games, even with the fans siding with the opposition on both nights (shoutout to Donovan Mitchell for rocking a Mexico national team jersey into the arena.) Both games also represented some of the largest crowds the Magic have seen all season. Thursday's game drew 20,021 ticket holders, while Saturday's saw 20,011.

It's great to see the Magic on a roll again and are now in the midst of a 3 game win streak, their next game is at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
