A battle of All-Star centers, Nikolas Vučević and Jokić was the headline of this game and man they didn’t disappoint! The Magic started the game off well, reeling in from a hard loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, and kept the Denver Nuggets at bay for most of the first half. Vooch was going toe-to-toe with Denver’s Joker and confidently scoring over him. Aaron Gordon helped spread the floor allowing Vooch and himself great scoring opportunities.
Things started to change in the 3rd quarter when the Nuggets went on a run lead by Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and the Joker himself. The Magic had no answer late in the 4th and have now lost two games in a row at home.
While it’s still early in the season, they’re still plagued by late game downturns and must find a way to over come that as they head on the road to face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
