The Los Angeles Lakers went up against the Orlando Magic last night at the Amway Center! Fans came from all over the city and energy in the building was electrifying!
Lakers started the game in their zone, controlling the pace and out scoring the Magic most of the first half. At one point they were up 20 over Orlando in the 2nd quarter. Lebron, AD and KCP were locked in!
The Magic rallied back in the 2nd half, lead by Aaron Gordon, Fournier, Jonathan Issac (aka the Minister of Defense) and Mo Bamba (who had a huge block on Bron) to get the game within 5 points but their effort was not enough to keep the Lakers from making a momentum changing 8-0 run in the 4th and coming away with the win.
Lebron played point guard as Rondo was on the bench still recovering from a hamstring injury. He ended the night with another triple double (25pts, 11asts, 10rebs).
Seeing the Lakers first hand; the way they’re able to stretch the floor, get pretty much any 2nd chance points they want, it’s no question as to why they’re at the top of the NBA right now.
