The Magic faced off against the Washington Wizards for an Eastern Conference show down featuring Japanese international rookie Rui Machimura and Bradley Beal go up again Orlando’s own. The Magic looked good from the get go with solid offensive play by Vooch and Evan Fournier and an emphatic jam by Aaron Gordon. Noticeably missing from tonight’s game was Jonathan Issac who had tweaked an ankle at the Magic’s City jersey release a few days ago. Kudos to the Magic for not rushing him back to play.

As the Wizards started to make a comeback in the 3rd quarter, the Magic were able to stay in control and rode the offensive run into the 4th. Beal went on a hot streak finishing the night with 34pts, but it was Markelle Fultz who stole the show with a dagger jam late in the 4th.
